• Purpose: Solidifies culture media; agar itself is not a complete nutrient mix

• Applications: Ideal for preparing agar plates and culture slants for mushroom culture work

• Use: Combine with water and the nutrient ingredients specified in your chosen agar recipe. Heat to dissolve, sterilize the prepared medium, then dispense into sterile Petri dishes or suitable culture containers using aseptic technique. Allow it to cool and set into a firm gel
